Riding on the Cress of a Wave

Koppert Cress rules and is our current favourite niche company by a few million miles.

They search the planet for native edible and aromatic cress species. Their offerings include Limon Cress from India (taste: lemon and anise), Borage Cress from the Middle East (taste: oyster and cucumber), Sechuan Buttons from Africa and China (taste: altoids mixed with peppercorns).

With companies such as Koppert - and chefs are saying a small sprinkle of Sechuan Button is the perfect accent to cocktails, desserts, ice cream, and sorbet - this 70's food certainly is riding on the cress of a wave - and surely due a come back any day soon.
